Al-Jamal Olive Oil Soap is rooted in a tradition that has been passed down for generations. Originating from Nablus, a city long known for its exceptional olive oil soap, our products are made using time-honoured methods that have remained largely unchanged for centuries.

Cooking

The mixture is made from olive oil, water and caustic soda, which is heated and stirred. The goal is to complete the chemical reaction to turn the mixture to soap.

Casting & Stamping

The mixture is poured and levelled. They are then marked with a grid and each bar is hand stamped with the brand's seal, Al-Jamal.

Drying

After cutting, the bars are stacked in conical towers to allow air to circulate between the bars and maximise dryness.

The bars are individually packaged in the brand's distinct wrapping paper, in preparation to be sent to you.
